The Guernsey Contractors Safety Assessment Scheme (GCSAS) has been created by experienced locally based health and safety professionals to improve health and safety standards across the Bailiwick.
The purpose of the scheme is to:
- The GCSAS is an accreditation, which demonstrates to prospective clients that your organisation meets specific standards of health and safety
- To streamline health and safety contractor assessment by standardising requirements
- To allow organisations to avoid undergoing health and safety assessments for every job
- GCSAS shows that you take health and safety seriously. It is designed to review and audit health and safety policies, procedures and documentation
As the scheme reviews your health and safety policies, procedures and documentation it proves that you can meet the required standard, in doing so it reduces the need to complete and submit multiple health and safety questionnaires to clients.
By joining the Guernsey Contractors Safety Assessment Scheme exhibits that you’re working to recognised health and safety standards.
The Guernsey Contractors Safety Assessment Scheme is supported by the States of Guernsey Health and Safety Executive.
